The Mile High Club

X marks the spot of kona ranch as seen from one mile high.

Google Earth is one of my favorite internet toys. I could (and have) spent hours playing with it. Here's the building downtown where I perform my labor.

If you haven't ever used Google Earth you'll be amazed how low you can zoom in on a piece of property, especially in urban areas where the resolution seems to be available in much greater detail than in some rural areas of the US.

I also like the additional information provided on the screen, such as the elevation of the area where you point your cursor.

My office is 475 feet above sea level. My house sits 982 feet above sea level.
