Roof in progress

It's a noisy and messy day here at the kona ranch. The blue tarp is meant to catch the old roofing materials and I'd guess it has caught about 15% of what's coming off the house. The patio is covered in bits and pieces of roof, and nails.

The ugly old brown roof will soon be history.

They have already started putting the new shingles over the garage. I am extremely happy with the choice I made. Just don't look at the mold growing on the painted siding down below. I'll take care of that later. Meanwhile this house will look 10 times better when this project is done.

The cats are ready for this to end. So are we.
