Dilated Eyes

txrad had an eye exam this morning and wasn't expecting them to dilate his eyes. He had to go by himself since I was at work. He has a severe case of neophobia. So this wasn't easy for him and I knew it wouldn't be. But I'm proud of him for both arranging the appointment, and getting himself there and home safely. He had to drive home looking like this freak. God only knows what the other motorists were saying.

Tomorrow we're going to pick out new glasses. I'm working from home in the morning and will go with him in the afternoon to pick his frames. And I'll be shopping for some of my own since I am desperately in need of bifocals.
